A short story about us
AdvitCare Nourish is a community-focused initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and families across the United States, South Korea, Canada and the UK by providing consistent, dignified access to monthly grocery assistance. We believe that no one should have to choose between paying essential bills and putting wholesome food on the table. Our program offers a helping hand.
About Us
How we started
For us, AdvitCare began in 2022 with a silence. It wasn't the silence of lockdown, but a new, heavier quiet: the sound of worried parents skipping a meal so their children could eat, the sound of pantries growing barer as the cost of everything rose. We saw the toll the pandemic had taken on our communities long after the worst was over, and we knew we couldn't just stand by. AdvitCare Nourish was our answer to that silence. With the rise of the second Trump administration and the cut in food assistance, we have since expanded to all states across the US.
"Our mission was, and will always be, a simple promise made to people: that no one should have to face the quiet worry of an empty pantry. It’s not just about food; it's about restoring dignity and hope, one family at a time."
- AdvitCare Nourish Chairman, Kim L.
"We believe the support we provide should be the same quality we would proudly serve our own families. That means focusing on fresh, nutritious, and kid options."
- Head of Management, Abdullah T.
"Our real strength doesn't come from working for the community, but with it. We are constantly on the ground, listening to local leaders, partnering with other NGOs, and building relationships with the farmers and businesses."
- Head of Food Quality, Lilith T.
